About this site
Manga Portal (the "Site") publishes manga adaptations of myths and classics from around the world. Every episode is free and no account is needed. The Site is operated by A-BET.
Information we handle
There are no user accounts. We handle only the following:
• A random device identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) to avoid counting likes and reads twice. It is not linked to your name.
• A one-way hash derived from your IP address, used to prevent spam and repeated posting. We do not store the IP address itself.
• The text and nickname of comments you post, stored so they can be displayed, translated and checked for inappropriate content.
• Read and like totals per series and episode.
Processing by AI
Before a comment is published, it is checked for inappropriate content and automatically translated into other languages by AI (Claude, by Anthropic). For this purpose the comment text and nickname are sent to the AI service. Please do not include personal information.
Advertising and analytics
The Site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ad Settings (https://adssettings.google.com). See how Google uses information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
On some episodes you may be asked to view an ad before continuing to read (Google Offerwall).
Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent to the use of cookies. Analytics tools, if enabled, will be listed on this page.
Retention and deletion
Comments are kept while the Site is operated. To request deletion of your own comment, contact us with the page, date and text of the comment. Comments we consider inappropriate may be hidden or removed without notice.
Children
Readers of any age are welcome. Children under 13 should use the comment feature together with a parent or guardian.
